Coalville Motorfest...... Saturday 29th June!

The Coalville Town Team is very proud to announce our first of many yearly events to start taking place in our town.

What is going to happen at the Motorfest? Well, it will be split between our town centre and Snibston Discovery Park. Linking the two will be a FREE TRAIN RIDE so you can get from one area to another and back again as much as you like and for FREE!

Have your say on Policing in Coalville

Coalville residents will get the chance to have their say on policing and crime in the town at a public meeting on Tuesday 30 April.

Leicestershire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Sir Clive Loader, is hosting an event at Stephenson College to discuss local policing issues. He will give a brief introduction to his Police and Crime Plan which will be followed by a response from the Chief Constable, Simon Cole. Both will then take questions from the audience.

To ensure that the Commissioner and Chief Constable can give full and detailed answers, we strongly encourage people to submit their questions in advance and attend the meeting to receive the response.

Questions should be put forward by noon on Friday 26 April via police.commissioner@leics.pcc.pnn.gov.uk or by calling 0116 229 8980. Questions can also be submitted by post to: Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, Police Headquarters, Enderby, Leicester LE19 2BX.

Easter weekend in Coalville

To celebrate, Coalville Market will be open on Good Friday 29th March, and Saturday 30th March.

With a Bouncy Castle, and Face Painting complimenting the surprisingly large range of goods on offer in the Market, why not come and join in the fun.
