The Belvoir Shopping Centre is working with Coalville churches to put on a dedicated Olympic cafe, called Run the Race, for the local community.

Opening on Saturday 28 July the cafe will be the Coalville-hub for the Olympics where there will be delicious homemade refreshments on offer in exchange of donations.

The cafe will also be showing the Olympics live on large TV screens and there will be crafts for the children, face painting plus fun games and various activities.

Local Olympic torch-bearer Ted Collins will be opening the cafe on Saturday. Ted ran with the torch through Wymeswold and members of the public will be able to get their picture taken with him and the torch.
